The area is rich in history, both from First Nations and homesteader communities who tried twice to make a community in the area in the 1910s and 1920s. This property is well off the beaten track, as the Cape Scott trail traverses further inland and on the far side of the park, then along the top shoreline above the Bight out to Cape Scott lighthouse.
